These elegant Birthday Balls are made out of 100% recycled glass. The recycled glass is post industrial recycled glass that comes from a facility in Seattle, WA that creates windows for homes, cars, etc. The manufacturer purchases the scrap glass that would otherwise be thrown away. When they receive the glass it arrives in large sacks broken into many different shapes and pieces. They then take the glass and shovel it into their furnace, melting it for 12 hours.
The colored glass comes from Germany. The color that is used is considered the best in the world and will never peel or fade. These ornaments are guaranteed to never fade.
